Dialectical behavior therapy reminds us that behaviors do not change without specifically targeting that behavior. Individual therapy can focus on specific behaviors that are life threatening, therapy interfering, or are compromising our quality of life such as overwhelming distress, anxiety, or depression,  chaotic unsatisfying relationships, feeling stuck or confused about life choices.
